Ella Leers, MD

Dr. Leers began treating me in 2015 until 2024 at Carnegie Hill Institute for addiction treatment and therapy. I became successful at abstaining from opiates under her care. Almost 10 years later and whenever I am asked or think of why or how I stayed away from drugs, i respond and know that it was in large part due to Dr. Ella Leers. Her immense compassion and skill in addiction treatment helped me get to where I am now. I could never thank her enough! I am so grateful she was my doctor and am very sad to see her leave Carnegie Hill Institute. However, I wish her only the best at her new position.

As others have said, meeting Dr. Leers was an absolute pleasure. She's extremely knowledgeable, and approached a long and complex medical history with an open mind and excellent recommendations. Can't say enough about how helpful she was.

Dr. Leers is bar none one of the most on point, intelligent, and humble doctors I've ever worked with. No g-d complex with the attitude to add. If she took you as a patient I promise inside of a month you'll feel like she's been your personal physician forever.

Dr Leers actually met w me for about an hour. She was caring, informative, judicious and helped me create a plan of action to address my issues. Very refreshing to have this kind of compassion and time w a doctor.
