Sureshchandra Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah has been my children’s pediatrician over 28yrs. He is the most kind, caring doctor that I have trusted all these years with the health and wellbeing of my three children. He has been a great support in the community for families who looked for a doctor that truly cared for the children who came to his office, in search of quality health care. He is like one of the family. All the families who have seen him in the Bronx, Yonkers an Mt. Vernon locations know he is a hidden gem. I met a young lady today who says he was her pediatrician , and now her three children see him. She was moved to tears as I was. I saw myself in that young woman years ago. Trying to do the very best you can as a single mom for your children. After 40yrs Dr. Shah is retiring. We are sad to see him close his last location in the Bronx. But a job well done. He will be blessed in this life and the next for all the lives he has touched. We thank you Dr. Shah. You are truly an amazing man. You deserve to enjoy your retirement with your wife and family. I am 22 years old, yes, 22 years old and Dr. Shah has been my doctor since birth. He is genuine, nice and informative. He always makes me feel comfortable (even throughout my puberty/teenage years). He is the only doctor now a days that does not resort to pills or medication but does it the old fashion and safe way to have your children grow into strong, smart and healthy individuals. ESPECIALLY with the drug epidemic America has on there hands. Dr. Shah has two locations, in the Bronx and in Yonkers. I go to the one in Yonkers and it has looked the same as before and it has always been clean and efficient. It does not matter if the doctors office has marble floors. What matters is that your children stay healthy and if sick, stay healthy.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This doctor has treated my three children since they were born and my oldest is 6 now. He’s amazing, knowledgeable, caring and straight to the point. The wait time is very minimal and I have no complaints.

He shows genuine Love to my kids. He makes u feel like family. His front desk assistant is very helpful as well
