Samuel Bekar, M.D.

Today was our first visit to Dr Bekar with our 2yr old and newborn. Dr Bekar has an excellent bedside manner and answered all our questions as well as concerns. His staff led by Shameeka and Jennifer were outstanding and totally professional. I read alot of reviews before going here and believe me Jennifer was such a pleasure to deal with. She is pleasant, polite, Professional, and efficient! I would recommend Dr Bekar to friends, Family, and anyone looking for outstanding Pediatric services.

Dr. Bekar is a one of a kind, gem of a Dr. There is a reason why I travel from NJ for both of my kids to see him. However, I am in utter disbelief at the comments people are saying about his secretary Jennifer. She is amazing, does the job of 10 people perfectly and efficiently! I think people need to cut her some slack, and appreciate all that she does and say thank you! If people were more kind and understanding, you’ll get that in return!! and her gorgeous blue eyes can light up any room a person walks into

I like the blonde front desk because she does the job fast but the problem is that she seems that she has a problem with anyone. She’s always rude and she’s very disrespectful. The other staffs are friendly but slow. Dr.Bekar isn’t the best doctor and he’s really useless. He always has to make go back and forth just to visit him and find out that he’s giving the seem treatment.

This doctor recently diagnosed my son with allergies. He had a fever of 100.5. He later gave this to my ex husband who had the same thing. NOT allergies. Idk if the doc doesn’t know what he’s doing or if he just wasn’t paying attention, but really. Additionally, his front desk is the rudest I have ever encountered in my entire life, BY FAR. I am deaf, and I use the relay system to make phone calls. They know this, and have used it many times. They will TALK OVER the interpreter, saying that I am not fast enough, not even giving the interpreter time to give my phone number to allow the doctor to call me back (which he never does, btw. Idk if he ever even received my messages.) I am not fast because the translation takes a few seconds longer than a normal conversational pace. But they do not care, and often will hang up on me mid sentence. It’s wrong and it’s discriminatory. They should be brought up to date on ADA laws to avoid lawsuits.

This doctor always gives me the right diagnosis and he makes sure all people are happy at the end of the day. Most come!!
