Ruben Kandov, M.D.

Dr Kandov is an exceptional cardiologist. He is knowledgeable, caring, listens to what your explaining and acts. I wouldn’t have my life in any other hands. Almost EVERY doctors practice on the Island & Brooklyn (with the exception of Dr Dany Elsayegh who runs his practice the same way) can learn something from him and his staff. NEVER have I waited more than 5 minutes to be brought into a room, in that room I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for him to come in. Never does the front desk have a chip on their shoulders or a random Staten Island attitude. Jennifer, Rosenia, Tammy, Maria & Brianna run that office like a very well oiled machine. Not fun going to the doctor but always a pleasure to visit Dr Kandov, his staff and the same goes for Dr Elsayegh and his staff. It’s pleasant it’s quick and they do not take hours of your day waiting for them. THE absolute model for how physicians should run their practice!!!!!

Old patient tried to make an appointment Representative was curt with me. Put me on hold then got back on and said next appointment would be in May 6 months from now. Did not ask me reason for appointment. I will notify insurance company about this matter. I hope Dr Kandov is aware of this rude behavior. Very strange .

He is arrogant and he doesn’t visit the patient. My mother is still hospitalized in SI hospital and when my dad and I asked for the name of her doctor the nurse didn’t have his name but as soon as she found out she send doctor Kandov to speak to us. The first thing he told us was what do you want to know because I don’t like to repeat myself. We are hoping my mother is discharged so we can take her to real professionals and good hospitals

I was having a heart attack and I went to Doctor Kandov for hope and help. He put a stent inside me and I feel like he has a lot of experience. People that I have went to in the past for advice couldn't tell me what was wrong but Dr.Kandov proved his knowledge of medicine. He is very experienced and very kind. I am glad I ended up going to him and I thank you for saving my life!!! Thank you very much!!!!☺️😁👍🏻😀

Best cardiologist, ever! Takes great care and concern with his patients. Takes great care of my heart 10 out of 10.
