Awful doctor, should not be allowed to treat patients. I was misdiagnosed by him and then when I told him the medications were not working and I thought I needed to be reevaluated because I don’t think he is treating the correct diagnosis he said “ I don’t do reevaluations….” I have no clue what is wrong with him, but went to two other doctors that both said I was misdiagnosed and was given another diagnosis that both doctors agreed on. I am thankfully on the correct medications now. Please do not trust this doctor!!!

Saw this physician and in one visit he prescribed medication . I wanted to do my research before committing. I called the office to ask if I should be concerned about another medication I was prescribed which was giving me mild side effects and his secretary told me I couldn’t speak with the doctor without setting up an appointment. It has been less than a year since I was last seen. I think it’s crazy that the physician refused to speak to me unless I came in. How I interpret this behavior is it’s a way for a physician to charge insurance and collect a copay only to have you sit in a waiting room for longer than the 10 min face to face session provided, which could have easily been a call or Telehealth visit. What happen to patient’s care as a priority over financial gains?

Awful doctor! My wife diagnosed with Alzheimers and severe anxiety - and it was getting worse - his suggestion was to cut down on RX's. Now my wife is being treated by Dr. Leah Laitman - right medications, right approach - today, my wife can do 5-6 chores, eat at restaurants, travel to see friends - could NOT do that under Galak's care. Northwell's Neuroscience Institute recommended him - they are a waste - so is he.

This man does not care about your problems. He is simply trying to sell you something and cash in. While describing my issues, he frequently interrupted me. He asked me “Which medication would you like to take?”, making it obvious that he was only trying to make a quick buck off of my mental suffering. Do yourself a favor and avoid this mother******.

Such a waste of my time. I keep emailing him about my questions and concerns about my loved ones treatment and he doesn’t answer. I don’t get why he would neglect his patients. Don’t come here. Not worth it.
