Dr. Adair is my PCP. He completed his residency at Columbia and is a Mount Sinai affiliated doctor. He can help you get the referrals you need. Sidenotes: There is a long wait time, the office is older, and there is a $25 fee for documents like disability letters (referrals are free).

It isn't fair to judge this Dr. substantively, which is why I rested on 3 stars, but I must comment on the intolerability of his office (wait time) practice. Both times I was in the office, it was obvious that people had to wait an excessively long time (30-45 mins) to see him. Today I went because I had not been feeling well, and I was advised that a tele-health visit would not work. I was told I had to arrive at the very minute of my appointment. I even called before I left; but when I got there, two other people were ahead of me. Thirty minutes later, when I asked Reception, itI was told confirmed that there were 2 people in front of me--in other words, I would be there an hour anyway just waiting. When I said I had to leave for work, there was no objection made (e.g., that I would be seen shortly). The very least the Dr.'s office SHOULD do for people is advise when the Doctor is running late. It is simply not humane to have people waiting 30-60 minutes on a regular basis to see their PCP. Because of this fact and this fact alone, I get the sense that there is no real concern taken for patients on a personal level. My former doctor never, ever, ever expected anyone to wait. I used to walk in when I was sick without an appointment,, and in 30 minutes someone would see me. I knew that my old doctor was ridiculously rare, but this experience is very disappointing. If I had a wide swath of practitioners in my network, I would not stick something like this out. Hence, if you have a choice and your time matters to you, I would consider looking further for a PCP. Again, I make no comments on the Doctor's qualifications or skills, which I presume to be quite good.
