Being a young 21 yr old kid with renal failure and being in denial and going through the motions of understanding of my illness she was very condescending. I was noncompliant as a young kid after transplant I must admit. Seeing her care and how she spoke to you felt horrible. Yes I messed up but her attitude was, "he will never learn, let him be on dialysis forever till he dies." Well guess what, I got another live organ and am very compliant, couldn't be better. Im very upset knowing she's out there with this attitude, it sucks for future young kidney transplant recipients. She should be a regular nephrologist, not a transplant nephrologist caring for people with HOPE after transplantation. Doctors lose a grip of patient care, listening or understanding their feelings and seeing people deserve a second chance especially a young guy at the time like myself. She needs to go back to school and take psychology courses to understand people better because she's not good with people, PERIOD
