Dr Avany is the best Doctor I have ever met. No complains to her at all!! BEST DOCTOR EVER. But the lady front desk she doesn’t wanna tell me her name, with short red hair is the nastiest lady I have ever met. Really rude to the next level. Waited 20 mins and I came up to ask her a question, she tells me to sit down being rude, okay. I problem…… a lady comes asks a question she’s helping her. When I speak up about it she told me to shut up. Make sure if u come here to give the front desk the same respect they give you. I will not tolerate this behavior from a front desk clerk or whatever she is. Been with DR LUCY AVANY for over 8 years I believe. This nasty clerk has always been this nasty and today I just had enough of it. Pretty sure there are more reviews about them that are posted. Nothing to do with DR LUCY AVANY….. ITS THE FRONT DESK LADY/SHORT HAIR/RED HAIR. DOES NOT WANT TO TELL ME HER NAME. Really RUDE.

I have never met such unpleasant, rude, and ill-mannered people as the front desk staff at Dr. Avani's office!! In addition, the doctor herself allows the front desk staff to prescribe medications to patients, which is a violation and a risk. If you have a question for the doctor, getting her to call you back is a special quest that you must complete. Dr. Lucia Avany is honestly the best Family Medicine doctor in NY! She’s incredibly smart and truly cares about her patients. Her son, Dr. Albert Avany, is a cardiologist who sometimes works there as well, and he’s an extraordinary physician. Being great doctors definitely runs in their family! Their office manager, Sveta, is also amazing. She’s super organized and professional, making sure everything runs smoothly. This isn’t one of those offices that rushes you in and out, they actually take the time to listen and help. If you’re looking for a kind, intelligent doctor with a fantastic team, this is the place to go!

I don't usually write reviews, but this case should be reviewed not only by the patients of this office, but also by the HIPAA violations department, because this "doctor" is disclosing patients' private medical information, discussing another patient's health with other patients, making fun of patients' complaints and private medical information with his staff in front of other patients, thereby violating federal and state laws. This behavior of a "doctor" is not only unacceptable but also violates human rights and the law. Honestly, I was shocked by this person's behavior because I can't call her a doctor after all this. and it doesn't matter that this is a private office, the law is the law and everyone must follow the law. Very unprofessional and disgusting
