I’m doing this for all the negative comments I see. I’ve known Dr Genovese for about twenty years. I first found him for my ex boyfriend who was struggling with his health. Nothing visible. We went to about 23 other doctors and basically they all told him he was crazy. His labs were ‘normal’ 😡 and it might be in his head. I found Dr Genovese and he found my ex’s tiny sand grain sized testicular cancer and saved his LIFE. He also helped me through my journey with thyroid cancer AND saved my godmother from death as her heart doctor was giving her the all clear for a test which required sedation only to find out she needed an emergency stent because Dr G would not give her the clear unless she saw another cardiologist and did testing. He’s stopped me from getting unnecessary X-rays to avoid the radiation. Say what you will, none of us are perfect, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a more thorough and informed doctor in my opinion.

What is crazy is that many people are so quick to leave negative reviews but few share the positive experiences which are by far, the most common experience at this office. Dr. Genovese is a very caring doctor that takes the time to give individualized and personalized service. He doesn’t rush you out of the room and gives you different options, which are always your choice. Though I understand that medicine is important for many, it is not my preference and he respects this. Most doctors are quick to write a prescription and treat you as a guinea pig. That is something that this great doctor does not do. If you’re not willing to change your diet, lifestyle or way of thinking, then most likely, you’re going to need some medications, understood. At least tell me there are other options which have cured other people, if I ask! Dr Genovese won’t brush you off and just pull out the prescription pad. I don’t get sick very often and I don’t take any medications. I respect a doctor that respects that fact and that doesn’t push medications that might heal a symptom but then causes me three or four more illnesses. If you want a straightforward doctor that tells you like it is, but not worse than it is, this is your guy. If you want a doctor that’s going to suggest you rip out your body parts and prescribe drugs that are going to ultimately kill you and give you other illnesses, go to someone else. It’s pretty simple.

I don't recommend this doctor. Doctor does not perform basic requests of patients. I requested him to fill out a form for transportation to medical appointments and they have ignored me. Office manager Allison said that they don't fill out forms for patients. They lied & said that it was sent in by fax when the agency said that they no longer accept faxed forms and that the form will be rejected. I alerted them to this issue for three weeks calling everyday, I called everyday to follow up & could only leave a message about submitting the form. They do not listen to voice mail messages. Requested new pharmacy because had insurance changes & got new providers. Office manager even called me but they sent prescriptions to old pharmacy. No medication for several days

He terminated me as a patient but truth is boo hoo big loss he's a waste of time office not even medically stocked , but he has a old Marie Kurie centrifuge machine I'm positive he doesn't know how to use. Every time I went there I wasn't weighed , didn't have my blood pressure taken no urine tests nothing he'd sit on his computer thinking he's so pretty that's what our insurance should be paying for it they don't listen and very unprofessional worst doctor (and I use that term loosely ) I've ever had. Thank God got private insurance again I can get a REAL doctor because he ain't one !

What is wrong with this man? Not only do you have to wait 2 hours in the waiting room because he schedules all his patients within a 3 hour window on any given day but he also just has the worst matter of following up with patients. I have been calling him for 2 months to get a prescription sent to my pharmacy, an urgent prescription which I desperately needed for 2 months calling every day on the fluctuating days his office his open- on these random days, his secretaries answer- who I kid you not, scoff and laugh at you. They would not connect me to him. I cannot imagine this man treating vulnerable elderly patients, he truly gives the impression that he does not care. I had to find another doctor who immediately sent out my prescription and got me covered, the doctor was shocked at the behavior this man had me go through. Please save yourself heart ache, find someone else.
