Dr. Dellosso is an exemplary primary care physician. He has been my doctor for many years, and even during the most complicated chapters of my medical history, he has remained consistent in his compassion, thoroughness, and genuine investment—not just in my health, but in me as a person. When I first moved to New York City, I needed to see a PCP immediately. Dr. Dellosso had the soonest available appointment I could find in Manhattan—and I truly feel like I won the lottery. He’s been my physician ever since. As for the front office staff: like many busy practices, the experience can be mixed. I’ve had a few tense interactions over the years, but I’ve also encountered staff members who are incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Don’t let one or two off moments keep you from a fantastic doctor—it’s absolutely worth it.

Consistently late for appointments by 45min - 1HR. No gloves when drawing blood. Use paper filing. Ceilings have stains from water leaks. Trash on floors. Wallpaper peeling. Urine cups are stored in the same closet they draw blood. If you want an office from the 70s, this is your spot. Otherwise, find another. There are plenty in NYC.

Dr. Dellosso is a warm, kind man who listens and takes his time. Based only on health care and bedside manner, he's one of my favorite doctors. But unfortunately, the practice is a disaster. Appointments routinely run 30-60 minutes late, there's a surprising reliance on paper records, and I'd see lab results updated at Quest website more than a week before anyone personally followed up. Anyone on a schedule will find themselves frequently frustrated here, unfortunately.

I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Dellosso for over ten years. He consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism, thoroughness, and a commendable bedside manner. Additionally, the reception staff is always welcoming and efficient, contributing to a positive experience overall.

For the past two years, Dellosso has been over 45 minutes late to my appointment with zero communication, and I see him every three months. There have been at least 4 times when he is over an hour late and I’ve had to cancel. Often times, he’s not even on site yet. Never once has he acknowledged his being late. He also seems completely uneducated on LGBTQ healthcare, which is ironic given his Chelsea West Village location. The nurses, PA, and rest of staff are so kind and are put in a position to apologize for him. Because of this, I’m finding a new location.
