Dr. Francis A. Barra, D. D. S.

When I met Barra, he hardly even spoke to me. He came in, looked at my x-rays, and said nothing. He definitely hurt me, and it was only just a cleaning, and I bled a lot (could be my fault as well because of the care of my teeth, but he was not soft-handed at all). When he was done, he just said goodbye and to make a follow-up. He didn’t tell me what was wrong or what I need. When I went to make a follow up with the receptionist, she was confused and asked me what I’d be coming back for. Because he didn’t tell me, I said I assumed it was to fill my cavities. I got a phone call today from the receptionist for my appointment 08/30. I asked, because I was never informed, what he’d be doing. She stated it was for x-rays and a cleaning. I told her I was confused because the last time I was there, I did all of that. She was confused and put me on hold. She tells me that they still need to do a cleaning and X-rays because they “did not know which dentist I saw beforehand” and they “need their own X-rays”. Once again, I stated to her that I got X-rays and a cleaning done with Barra last time. She responds with “oh, you’re not a new patient?” After I clearly told her numerous times that I wasn’t. I told her that this was very unprofessional and to cancel my services moving forward. Never in my life have a met such an office that lacked basic bed-side manner, communication, listen skills, and common sense. Never again.
