Dr. Cummings is a fantastic choice if you need a colonoscopy or endoscopy! His staff was thorough and effective, and they were able to get me in quickly when I had concerning symptoms. Everyone was very thorough and answered all of my questions, and took me seriously even as a younger patient. There are many other doctors that will turn away or dismiss younger patients presenting symptoms just due to their age, but I felt respected and understood during the whole process with Dr Cummings, his staff, and the surgery care team. I have had a lot of procedures and I have to say the kindness and compassion I received on the colonoscopy day was unparalleled. Thank you so much to everyone! I highly recommend Dr. Cummings for your colonoscopy and/or endoscopy appointments!

Erica is a star. She goes about and beyond while you are signing in and filling out additional paperwork She makes you feel at home the minute you step into the offices on 5th Avenue. As I was getting ready to depart she had the notes from Dr. Cummngs ready and took the time to review them with me. Dr. Cummings is kind, caring, and has the modern version of great bedside mannger. He takes the time to hear why you are not feeling well and walks you through a proper plan of action. He is incredibly well educated in his field and make sure you understand all that is going on into your body. I was very nervous about needing to see a gastrologist, but this team fully out me at each. I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars. Should you need a specialist in this field I full recomment their offices.

Just got out of my endoscopy and colonoscopy at the age of 33. Did not ever see myself needing this right now but holy cow am I happy to have met Dr. Donnell Cummings and for everything he did for me today and these last few weeks. I just want say thank you so much even after my procedure I just need to rave about you! You are black excellence !!! Definitely the best doctor I’ve been to. I’m young and still get very nervous when finding a new physician but Dr.Cummings was honestly very attentive and supportive and took all my concerns with great care and sensitivity. He even performed my endoscopy himself which was very reassuring to see a familiar face in a scary situation. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Cummings is one of the most caring and thorough doctors I ever had. He communicates and listens so well. Erica at the Front Desk is so sweet and helpful.
