Disorganized front office. I booked an appointment for a lab and confirmed over the phone 2 weeks prior. When I came in a rude receptionist told me that they could not treat me unless I fully transitioned primary care providers. Would have been good to know before making the trip.

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: We’ve been seeing Dr. Cohen as our general practitioner for over five years, but unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Despite our long-term visits, he never seems to recognize us, and each appointment feels rushed. The check-ups are minimal—limited to blood pressure, weight, and confirming basic personal information. There’s no proper medical history taken, and I’ve had to press for answers and guidance each time. When I asked for a more comprehensive blood test due to ongoing health concerns, the request was dismissed. On a positive note, he has at least provided some helpful referrals to other specialists. What makes matters worse is the front desk staff, who are so consistently rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, due to the combination of poor communication, lack of thorough care, and an unwelcoming office environment, I cannot recommend this practice.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Cohen!!! I walked in to his office 15 years ago in pretty rough shape. Dr. Cohen was able to put me at ease rapidly. He was able to quickly diagnosis my ailment. He immediately was able to get me an appointment with top Gastroenterologist. Dr. Cohen knowledge and care saved my life! I see him several times a year to help track my various medical issues. The office and nursing team our thoughtful, thorough, and efficient. You not find a better Doctor and Practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Cohen for nearly 20 years. He has helped guide me through some very difficult medical conditions and helped me make the best decisions for myself medically as well as personally. He is straightforward and at time brutally honest with his advice. He is a great doctor. I recommend him and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Cohen for over 20 years. Dr Cohen is amazingly astute, knowledgeable of course, thoughtful, and always there for his patients. Barry works very hard to resolve the issues of his patients, follows up and makes sure everything is ok. Also, the entire staff of the practice is great…..smart, responsive always helpful in every way. I can honestly say I have never felt more confident and secure in my primary care physician. Cant say enough good things about Dr Cohen.
