Andrew Scott Athanassiou, M.D.

Dr. Athanassiou is one of THE BEST OBGYN in the world (even though I haven’t traveled for others). No issues, and he is so understanding and informative of any and everything. It’s a judge free zone, and I wouldn’t refer a friend or family member to anyone else. When I thought my daughter wouldn’t be here, he assured me that it would be possible to get pregnant and gave me all the tools and knowledge I needed to make it happen, and QUICK. If you heard negative, you should meet with him yourself, negativity does not exist in his space, and that is why he’s the greatest!

This review is long overdue. I had a great experience with Dr Athanassiou. He is medically knowledgeable and would give you all the medical facts BUT he also listens to you (me) the patient. He listens to what I'm saying, how I'm feeling, what I'm experiencing. He answers all questions, points in the right direction, leaves nothing to chance. I especially love that he introduced me to the other doctors upon my request so that I could meet the doctor that might be on call during my delivery. He follows up promptly. He works with an amazing staff. There is nothing better than a doctor who knows his coins but isn't so arrogant that he doesn't listen. Side joke: He might need to be a little lighter/softer down there but it was an awkward/uncomfortable feeling/experience for me (first time with a male OB/GYN) so not totally his fault. On a serious note I don't think there was a way for him to be softer without it being even more awkward so *shrug* Pregnancy went great 👍🏽

He the best ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ he takes his time answering any questions and explaining everything making me very comfortable in the process. That alone means a lot. And I'm the nervous type too 😂.
