Alyson Buchalter, D.M.D.

After the previous dental practice I went to closed, I was in need of a new dentist. On the recommendation of a friend, I began seeing Dr Buchalter two years ago. She took my medical history and noted the medications I take - none of my previous dentists ever even asked for this information, which can absolutely have an influence over a person's dental health. She further impressed me with her clear explanations of what she observed on my x-rays and her oral exam. She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable dentist and, in some ways most important of all, she is a friendly, kind person who cares about her patients.

Dr. Buchalter is a fabulous dentist, she is very good at what she does, she is fair, knowledgeable and kind. After may years of neglecting my teeth and having a fear of going to the dentist, she was able to calm my nerves and reassure me. She has taken care of me for over 15 years, and I am a loyal patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Buchalter for approximately 10 years. I was referred to her by a friend who was a retired dentist and her patient. Needless to say, she is a "dentist's" dentist. She is extremely skilled, accurate in her diagnosis and honest. She explains the situation in a clear and comprehensible understanding. I recommend her for all dental needs. Barry M.

You can go to a fear-mongering dentist who will recommend you work on teeth that don't need repair, or you can see Dr. Buchalter and preserve what you've got. Dr. Buchalter is highly conservative when it comes to you keeping your teeth. She does not rush into unnecessary procedures and she educates along the way. There aren't many dentists like Dr. Buchalter anymore. I find great value in having her as my dentist.

After many years of having expensive and extensive dental work done by Manhattan Dentists who seemed to always find the need for me to have more work done, I decided to find a dentist closer to home. I was fortunate to find Dr. Buchalter who was referred to me by a retired dentist I know. From the start, I found her to be honest, sincere and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She is able to diagnose the situation accurately, repair it or make a referral to the appropriate specialist. I only wish that I knew her years earlier! Eileen M.
