I had a very positive experience with my doctor, Alice Wei. She is caring, compassionate, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. During my pancreatic cyst surveillance and review of my scans, she made sure I understood all the findings, answered every question patiently, and never made me feel rushed. Her calm and reassuring manner helped ease a lot of anxiety. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and wants them to feel informed and comfortable with their care plan. I truly appreciate her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Dr Wei from MSK greeted me with a big smile as she came in and introduced herself to me. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I felt like I was in good hands right from the start of my visit! She took a lot of time to go over all my tests and was more than willing to spend time answering all my questions! I did not feel rushed and felt that everything was explained to me in terms that were very easy to understand. Dr Wei seems like a very caring, dedicated Dr! I am so glad I was referred to her by Dr Li for issues with my pancreas! Her PA spent time with me and was excellent too!

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Wei. There was a lack of sensitivity toward my concerns. I was made to wait an excessive amount of time during video calls. The decision-making process regarding whether surgery or procedure was necessary took far longer than expected, without clear communication or reassurance. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and lacking in patient-centered care. Besides I got hit with huge bill despite minimal work.

Highly recommend Dr. Wei at MSK. She operated on my mother and performed the Whipple procedure. Dr. Wei is incredible — extremely professional, skilled, and compassionate. When I was unsure about proceeding with surgery because my mother is 80 years old, Dr. Wei reassured me that this was the best option for her with the best possible outcome. She and her office staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and supported through such a delicate and overwhelming process. They even helped us find a place to stay the night before the surgery. The level of care my mother received was the best I have ever seen in my life. Dr. Wei and the entire MSK team are truly the best in the business. I feel so lucky and grateful that Dr. Wei was the one to operate on my mom.

Dr Wei explains things directly and simply so that a person can understand complex topics and has information needed to makes important decisions. She spends the time with you answering questions. I feel so lucky she’s on my case.
