Been a patient of Dr Acquafredda for 13 years and she has always done right by me for two autoimmune diseases. She is very conservative with treatment if something is new to the market or expiremental, she tends to be cautious. Just be aware of having a long wait. If you have an appointment, you really need to block out the whole day for it you won't be in and out. They did just change to South Ave from Victory so don't go to the old location by accident.

An elderly patient is told by the doctor that they need an injection (after receiving the bloodwork back) to help with excruciating pain. The patient is told that the doctor only gives these injections on Mondays and Wednesdays so needs to wait if somebody cancels to fit her in the doctor's schedule. This is unheard of, not to mention the rudeness of the receptionist saying that she has another line so she needs to hang up!!! If this is how a specialist's office runs, you're better off seeking medical help elsewhere.

Be very aware of this doctor . She is unable to recognize basic rheumotoligic conditions . She treated my mother for 4 years with prednisone for a condition she never had . I took her to a rheumatologist at Columbia Presbyterian and was able to diagnose her in one visit. My mother never had a rheumatologic condition she had lymphoma. It was right there in the blood work . There is a reason she is know as Dr. Prednisone —- she treats all her patients with prednisone. Be aware find a real doctor before it is to late.

Called frantically to set up appt for my son. Needed timely appt because my son was in a very low emotional state. First, was given an appt one month away. Begged, appealed & was told this was best they could do. Called me back 10 minutes later & agreed to see my son THE NEXT DAY! Good to see that some practices actually care about patients & families that they have never met. Thank you for caring!

While I never set foot in the office, I have been very disappointed with how appointments are made. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Aquafredda and was willing to wait for her. (She was referred to by my gyn.) Imgagine my shock when another doctor from her office called to confirm an appointment with him! I was not told when I made the original appointment I would be seeing another doctor other than Dr. Aquafredda. I will be looking for another doctor.
