In detail review. Dr.gela should be fired and stripped of her license. First problem is she likes to say every test is mandatory and no choice. Second if you dont want to do a test she THREATENS TO CALL CPS ON YOU. No my wife dosnt want your crust hands in her cervix if its not mandatory. But if she doesn't let her do it She will take our children away?! What doctor says things like that. Best believe we will never go back again. Don't come here. Find a OBGYN you can be comfortable talking to with out being threatened.

Dr Gela was such an amazing OB. She helped and care for me through my pregnancy. She was thorough caring and understanding. All of my symptoms and concerns she made sure to tend to them and help me find a solution. If I have another baby I’d love for her to be my doctor again

I have been with Dr. GELA for over 20 years and she's the best! I am shocked to read some of the negative reviews because that has definitely not been my experience. The wait times tend to be a little excessive at times but I have learned eays to work around the issue ( first appt of the day , or when shes less busy). She has called me during the evening hours, or over the weekend, so I am really perplexed with some of the reviews. I won't minimize others experience but grateful mine has been positive! Good luck in finding a doctor that suits your needs.

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor. She doesn’t review patients lab result's nor does she check the doctor notes on specialists appointments. Horrible at communicating with patient. A few times I’ve requested over mychart for her to call me regarding some concerns and each time it was a nurse returning the calls not her, even after asking the nurse if she can have Dr Gela call me she still didn’t return the call. Dr Gela as well as a genetic counselor both agreed and proscribed me the wrong medication to take during my pregnancy and didn’t inform me til 4 days later that I wasn’t supposed to be taking that medication. Schedules appointment without informing you the need or importance of the appointment. She’s not for the patients, she’s for the hospital. When you confide in her with deep concerns she shows little to any interest to your matter or worries.

Excellent Doctor! I've been a patient of Dr. Gela since 2013. She is an excellent OB as well as GYN. Very thorough, understanding and caring to her patients needs. Awesome follow-up appointments and great customer service. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.!!
