Anthony Michael Aurigemma, MD

Dr Aurigemma is my homeopathic physician for many years. I also see all conventional doctors, balancing approaches as necessary He is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable in several schools of medicine. He has also treated my family members including grandchildren. I studied homeopathy as a hobby since 1974 with the late Henry Williams, MD, affectionately referred to as the “Dean of American Homeopathy,” David Wember, MD, and Catherine Coulter, whose terrific private lectures on Ed Whitmont, MD’s writings on Jungian perspectives on homeopathy, especially psychological pictures and symptoms, changed my life. I had the distinct honor of attending one of Dr Whitmont’s lectures in New Yoek many years ago, and arguing with him about “fairness in life,” or rather, I should say, “the injustice of life!” 😎 He and Hal Williams especially influenced my deepest understanding of disease and true medicine. Tony Aurigemma following that tradition. FYI, I have both PhD and MEd degrees in human development from the University of Maryland College Park. My bachelor’s degree is in psychology from Antioch. I am a retired professor at American and Johns Hopkins universities where I taught psychology and public affairs. I have and continue to be an existential psychoanalyst in private practice since 1974. I list all these credentials because I know how badly homeopaths are treated. I have also served as an expert witness before the Royal Courts in London in an important case regarding a British physician’s right to practice alternative medicine.
