Rob
Anthony Aizer, MD Rob Posting publicly across Google I had an ablation done locally in the Albany NY area and felt 10 times worse. I recovered somewhat over a period of 7 months but my AFib was still twice as bad as before the procedure. I made an appointment with Dr aizer in 2023. I was very impressed with him and the NYU staff. Because the arrhythmia was effecting my quality of life I scheduled the procedure. I backed out or should I say I chickened out. When the arrhythmias worsened I scheduled again. Once again fear got the better of me and I cancelled a second time. With my condition again worsening I scheduled for February 4, 2025. Although fearful I was determined to go through with it. Since I had to stop my meds 2 days before the procedure I was in AFib when I went under anesthesia. When I awoke the AFib was gone with no meds administered. I waited all afternoon and into the next day until I was a believer. At 73 I am now looking forward to the remainder of my life without this issue. If asked how I would describe this experience with the first I would describe it this way. You want as artist rendering of yourself and stop at a sidewalk artist in your town. He draws your portrait but it is in caricature. Dissatisfied, you commission DaVinci. No comparison. No embellishment. No hyperbole. Dr. Aizer, this humble retietired Telecom engineer can't thank you enough.

I had Atrial Fibrillation for over 42 years controlled by medications. However, recently the medications were not working. I saw Dr Anthony Azier "Tony" who performed an Ablation. I am feeling great and off my arrhythmia drug. Dr Aizer was EXCELLENT! A life changer for me! The NYU My Care Team was fabulous!!

I had ablation concerns, preferring the status quo (meds) but they weren't working. Dr Aizer patiently listened and answered my questions and helped me feel comfortable with the decision to move forward. I had the ablation 6 days ago. The hospital experience was excellent as is Dr Aizer abd the NYU care team.

I never got to meet him because I was kept on interminable hold for a Tele-visit for almost 30 minutes with no indication as to what was going on. I tried calling his office but got an answering machine. I ended up sending the office a Fax to let them know I was waiting. I finally got a callback from the PA who told me she would get him on the call immediately; but after I logged in she called me again and told me 2 patients were still ahead of me, and it would be at least another 10 minutes. He finally called me back while I was on another call, but when I tried to return his call I was immediately put on hold by the receptionist before I even had a chance to say anything. I can't speak to his abilities, but If you value your time, find someone else.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Aizer. He puts forth exceptional effort and dedication. He saved my husband.
