A VERY GOOD PERSON

Excellent Physician, great communicator, and compassionate! It is, indeed, rare and refreshing when a Provider pays full attention to us, eye contact and embracing a real conversation, rather than simply a question and answer dialogue while staring at the computer. That is also why this Doctor is so effective!

The place itself is fine. Friendly check-in staff and nurse. But I wasn’t happy with the doctor. I guess this is the norm these days but I felt like she was simply reciting the same questions she would ask anyone and not even looking at my body. If you take an object in somewhere for repair or maintenance the person would actually look at it carefully and make recommendations, right? No looking at my body and very minimal touching. The other thing that bothered me was that when I said I had some questions for her she asked if I was in for a physical or if I wanted to ask questions. She said there wasn’t time for both. Maybe that’s true and just shows a problem with the whole system, but I see a doctor usually once a year and my questions were actually relevant to my health and therefore the physical. I decided to go for the physical and will just use google to answer my health questions or make a tele-health appointment with my regular GP who was not available until the Fall. If doctors don’t want us all turning to Google for our own health care then someone needs to do something about our whole medical system.
