Albert Ayoub, M.D.

My husband and I had a really disappointing experience with Dr. Albert Ayoub during my second trimester. After such a positive experience with Angela Ferin in my first trimester — who was warm, thorough, and made us feel genuinely cared for — the contrast was honestly jarring. Dr. Ayoub’s bedside manner came across as cold, abrupt, and condescending. My husband and I left the appointment feeling dismissed rather than supported. Important test results were not clearly explained, and when we asked questions, the responses felt rushed and lacking empathy. Pregnancy can already be an anxious and vulnerable time, and we never felt comfortable or reassured in his care. By the end of the visit, both my husband and I knew we would not feel comfortable having him involved in our delivery experience. Bedside manner and communication matter so much in OB care, and unfortunately this experience fell far short of what we expected. We have since changed OB practices entirely because we no longer felt confident or comfortable continuing our care there.
