***Lovely place that deals directly w/young adults that focus on their "special abilities" instead of their disabilities. The young adults under direct supervision run a tiny thrift shop serving our community. They are genuinely so sweet, bright& eager to do their job always with a smile on their face & love in their hearts. When the thrift shop is closed to the public that means the adults are working on self-help tactics directly related to their work like: mathematics, spelling, art and coloring, laundry, cleaning/mopping, price-tagging their donated clothing and hanging clothing in an orderly fashion. I was thrilled to drop off coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, sketch pads & asked if they drew "Anything" if they can date & sign and hang their artwork throughout their store to display. I did this as a gift for their kindness to me as they gave me deep discounts as I lost 40 lbs. through illness in 2 months time.
