I found this practice through my healthcare provider's website. Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. Wang's office for a basic check up/wound care advice and the experience was positively different than what I'm used to. It was easy to set up an appointment - I was told I could come in whenever I wanted that same day and the doctor saw me within 15 minutes of arrival. Easy process. The administrative/billing process was pleasantly straightforward: come in and sign your name at the front desk, wait for the administrator to call you, give your insurance card, pay your copay, sit down and wait for the doctor to call your name. Simple and efficient. The consultation was everything I expected for a first visit: take metrics, have a little chat about my general health, set up a check-up schedule, and address the specific concerns I came with. I truly appreciate Dr Wang's directness, she's a no-nonsense adviser encouraging me to break long-acquired bad habits, and making me realize that I'm getting to an age where I should be more consistent with my check ups. She gave me clear and thorough directions to follow for wound care, prescribed an antibiotic treatment, and educated me on signs of infection and necrosis so I would know to call her if it occurred. Useful information and sensible care. That was a great first experience.
