The facilities are modern and clean. But they have update their systems to this century. There are no APi integrations with MyChart or northwell which is concerning. At triage the attendant spoke in an unintelligible creole. I asked for instructions in writing because I am Autistic and easily distracted by sound. The waiting room is pretty chaotic the security guards are always on the phone, and herd patients onto the waiting area even though theres like 8 waiting wings which were behind rods. Once i got to the second floor I was examined by an attending nurse who was super nice her name was Amanda. We discussed briefly the need for a universal health record that would make her job more efficient and provide optimal care. I am a snow shoveler for DSNY hoping to get permanent employment, with the ends of having earned income to substantiate my citipfheps voucher. Onboarding a patient facing dashboard for shelter patients is cost free. I reside at the adult sanctuary at 1090 Myrtle, most of hospitals business comes from shelters. You’d think they would have honed an intimate relationship with those patients.

On April 3, 2026, I spent a few hours at the hospital for a minor procedure to remove some suspicious cysts from my breast. The staff was incredibly sincere, compassionate, and attentive. They cared for me and looked after me as if they were members of my own family. My doctor, Anna Arsenous, is the absolute best at what she does. She is experienced, and her warm, smiling demeanor put me completely at ease before the procedure; I can say the exact same thing about all the nurses and the anesthesiologist who attended to me. I am truly grateful. They did everything in their power to ensure my comfort during this difficult day. They truly touched my heart. If I had to give a star rating, I would give a thousand—ten thousand, a hundred thousand! 💫 Thanks to these compassionate hands, I left the hospital in high spirits and in good health.
