The administrative failures and lack of patient empathy at this practice are staggering. The billing department is a complete mess. I’ve received countless bills trying to collect an invalid balance, when in reality, auditing my records shows they actually owe me a refund. Dealing with this is incredibly difficult because the front desk receptionists are consistently rude and dismissive, or they just ignore my requests entirely. The nail in the coffin was showing up for a confirmed appointment I had waited months for, only to be told it wasn't on their books because they switched booking systems. The staff treated me like their system glitch was my fault. I was "squeezed in" and so rushed that I couldn't ask any of the health questions I had. The medical care itself was also dismissive of my bodily autonomy. When I stated I do not want children, the doctor told me I might change my mind (I’m 32). Later, when a blood clot meant I had to stop birth control, instead of addressing my severe period symptoms and hormonal issues, she just suggested my boyfriend get a vasectomy. I have since found a new doctor who actually took the time to listen with empathy. They understand that my severe symptoms and desire to not have children warrant a hysterectomy, which I am having later this year. I am writing this because I know how incredibly hard it can be to find women’s healthcare that validates you and respects both your body and your finances. This place is absolutely not it. If you want children and/or are pregnant, you may see better support here from a medical standpoint, but the administrative headaches and billing issues will likely still be a major problem for you.
