I would not recommend this dental practice. I scheduled what I believed would be a routine dental cleaning and X-rays. During my visit, I specifically asked whether the office was in-network with my insurance, United Healthcare PPO. Only then was I informed that they were out of network. Had I not asked, I do not believe this information would have been disclosed to me. I was later shocked to learn that approximately $1,256 was billed for a routine cleaning and radiographs. As a result, nearly all of my annual dental benefit of $1,500 was exhausted in a single visit, leaving me with very little coverage for the remainder of the year. My biggest issue is the lack of transparency. Patients should be clearly informed upfront when a practice is out of network and when services may significantly impact their insurance benefits. Instead, I left feeling blindsided by both the network status and the amount billed. While the staff was courteous, the financial experience was extremely disappointing. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this practice. I strongly encourage anyone considering this office to verify network participation and obtain a clear understanding of costs before agreeing to treatment.
