This was my first time in Greenwich Hospital as I followed my neurosurgeon Dr John Strugar here. I am a nurse and worked at Waterbury Hospital for 42 yrs and that was my go to hospital. However, I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised at the whole vibe of Greenwich Hospital. I felt the competence and professionalism from ever one I encountered! In preop my nurse was Naome. My case was delayed and she kept me informed and made sure I was comfortable. My OR nurse and Anesthesia explained everything and again made me feel as though I would be well taken care of. On the surgical floor I can’t remember everyones name but Angela and Sheila were wonderful and caring along with the rest of the staff. The staff was also consistent with their assessments. Physical therapy made sure to check that I would be safe at home and I was proud I passed their test. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend Dr John Strugar! He has helped me out of some really painful situations. Keep doing the great job your doing. I would give 10 stars!
