Waited 2 months for a rheumatologist, travelled 2 hrs, waited 30+ mins, filled out all paperwork and even gave my bloodwork report, just to find out that they only accept NY MEDICAID ONLY!!!! I asked if they accepted my insurance before making an appt. I want the office staff to understand how important patients lives are, what if I needed to see a rheumatologist asap in order to save my life, something they seem to not care about! Wasted money on travels but mostly TIME. Time that I could’ve seen a different doctor. Please have signs posted at your office that you only accept NY Medicaid patients only!! Seems like a great rheumatologist to see, unfortunate that they only accept private insurance. Now I have to search and wait even longer in order to see a different provider while my health is on the line.
