I was very happy with the care my father received while in rehabilitation here. The staff were attentive and caring. I visited once or twice per day, so I was able to witness a lot of interactions. He was always dressed and clean; even his hair was combed. My dad enjoyed the food. I was frequently there at dinner time and all of his meals looked good. I was also able to bring my dog in to visit him. My father had two medical emergencies while there and the staff promptly called emergency services and notified me. He had two minor falls and I was also promptly called both times. We had one issue with one staff member and that was quickly and professionally handled by the staff. Everyone took my concerns very seriously. The only downside is the building is a little outdated. The ceiling tiles in his room were stained from some type of leak. However, I'd take a conveniently located outdated room with fabulous staff over the alternative. Lastly, I would have appreciated a bit more communication about his treatment plan when he first arrived, but he was making his own medical decisions at that time. They likely gave him the information and he forgot it. When I reached out for information, I received it. Big shout out to Erin for always making time to talk to me.
