First, he respectfully converses with you in his office to focus the examination and address your concerns or fears; then, he thoroughly examines you or performs treatment. Finally, you meet with the doctor back in his office before you leave. It is a pleasure to feel comfortable, understood, and met with the utmost patience. His staff are all very personable, kind, and helpful. Dr. Melman is a rare specialist physician in that he really listens to you and does not rush the appointment. I wish all doctors aspired to the standard of excellence that I enjoyed during my appointment with Dr. Melman.

He was always there for me, responding quickly to my too numerous phone calls, emails and texts; on an off day he even opened his office just to see me. He always took the time to sit down and explain things in plain English. He has a great "bed-side manner." When surgery proved necessary, Dr. Melman was exceptional.
