I had oral surgery in Dec. I'm deathly afraid of the dentist and finally decided to do what I needed to do but only if I was sedated. I woke up and during my recovery I had absolutely no pain at all! I only had minor bruising and swelling. I couldn't believe how well it went and now I'm in the process of getting my teeth done and they student dentists are so nice! They even text or call to check on you to see how everything is going, how you're feeling and to remind you of your appointments. I'm super happy with the student dentist I've been working with! Dr. Jorge Andres Callejas is an amazing dentist! I definitely recommend anyone to come here!

Unbelievable that they have a special needs department but don’t treat their patients “special”. Almost nine months ago I brought my mute intellectually disabled son here. They discovered he had two teeth that were rotting. Since then I’ve taken him back here endlessly. Appointments scheduled and even given a packet on my last visit to have him finally get the teeth pulled. I was told when I begged to just pull the teeth. They can’t do that he has to wait for surgery. After multiple visits I fill out the packet and return it. No response at all. Then I call Celia who I have called before. Only for the packet to be mailed back to me. Demanding I provide evidence of guardianship. For every appointment my husband and I took my poor son to. No such request was made. We have paid out of pocket fees and drove hours to get here. My son has had multiple infections and pain because of these people. Despite my emails, calls and presence nothing has been done. They even referred him to another office that wasn’t even in network with his insurance. This is inhumane and unacceptable. I will be reaching out to the administrator. Do not bring your children here to this special clinic! Sadly but truly your children will suffer like my son is! When I told Celia my son could die she said take him to the emergency room. He will end up there very soon at this rate. It is crucial that my son be seen and taken care of. If Rutgers won’t advocate for him along with me who will?
