I’m so thankful to find Dr. Chen that I have to give him a big shout out here! I’m MTF and have lots of health anxiety due to past experiences where I felt dismissed by doctors, being rushed by doctors, being misgendered, etc. The list goes on. I just started looking for PCP as I decided to start transitioning medically only to realize a lot of places do not offer gender affirming hormonal therapy anymore. I got referred to Dr Chen by my other trans friend. I was intrigued to find out what his direct primary care model entails. All I can say is it’s so worth it. It’s like getting a premium primary care experience by paying an affordable monthly fee for the access and quality. I love that I can get primary care, urgent need, preventive screening and gender affirming hormonal therapy care all under one roof. With his compassionate care, incredibly easy access, and transparent pricing, I'm finally taking charge of the health I had neglected for so long. My family are joining as well.
