Had a wonderful experience buying just frames without lenses at the store. I ended up going to Costco for the lenses. The manager made wonderful conversation and is truly one of the kindest human beings. She helped me buy frames without any high-pressure sales tactics. I wasn’t even planning on buying frames that day, I was just looking, but our conversation was so pleasant that I felt comfortable initiating the sale myself and asking to buy the glasses. This particular store has a wonderful old-school feel. I really enjoy having a great rapport with a store that knows you well. Quite literally, I have been complimented on my glasses every week since. I can’t tell you how heartbroken I am that this location is closing.

What an Amazing experience I've had at Manhattan eye works. I was in dire need of a new prescription, and new glasses. Upon arrival I was greeted by the store manager Ms Marina and her staff. Ms Marina was so kind and personable. She went above and beyond to make sure I choose the right glasses for me. I didn't feel rushed and all my questions were answered and explained to the fullest. My eye exam was done thoroughly and carefully. I honestly don't know who would rate this establishment less than 5 stars, hence why you shouldn't go off of negative reviews. Stop in and experience it for yourself. If ever your in the NYC area and need great eyewear Manhattan eye works is where you must go.
