The doctors here are very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff are just as nice. It is easy to enter here should you have walking problems as the outdoor parking lot is very close to the outdoor access elevator. By the way, the view from the glass windows in the waiting room is very pretty. You can see the cars at the intersection of Union Turnpike and 164th Street and the Q65 bus stop going north. There are 3 eating places at the first floor level and a convenience store. Across the intersection there are several fast food restaurants and a bank . Cars can drive in to the parking lot from either Union Turnpike or 164th Street. The are several podiatrists(foot doctors) here making it pretty easy to make an appointment within 1 to 2 days. I found it was not easy to do that when I called individual podiatrists in Flushing. I had an accident that sent me to the Emergency Room for stitches the previous week so I needed stitch removal and follow up. I brought a family member here and his experience was also very good.

I've been in a work place related injury recently. My usual orthopedic doctor recommended I get surgery to prevent arthritis. I look at quite a few places that all refused me because they didn't accept work-comp insurance. I would have used my own medicaid if I could, but my job wouldn't allow me, they said they must pay for everything since it happened in their store. Luckily I came across Zocdoc, and they allowed filters in searches, and I just had to include work comp, and a very short list of local doctors popped up. This office has a few orthopedists at hand. The usual wait time was not as long as I expected, sometimes it would be 9 mins, sometimes 4, and sometimes it would be empty and I wouldn't even have to take a seat. I was introduced to Dr Chengcheng Tu. She was very knowledgeable with exactly which type of surgery I would be needing right away from the X-rays. In just a few weeks, I was recently released and in recovery from surgery. I'm waiting for my recovery to complete, and physical therapy to come after, but the surgery went great, no complications, no infections, and currently things are looking good. Unrelated, the office waiting area has a very nice large corner view of the neighborhood.
