Federal agency buildings like the Social Security Administration must provide easy access for people with physical limitations. This office does not have push-buttons for the doors. The entrance door was heavy for me. I made a motion to the security guard through the glass walls.. When security guard M. ALVES came to the door, he was not happy that he had to open the door. He said that that is not his job and that I have to bring someone to open the door for me if I want to acess the building. He said this in a very loud voice. He said don't come unless I bring someone to open the door. After I sat down, while I waited, I noticed that the other guard was very kind to people and did the work that Mr. M. alves had to do because Mr. M. Alves was too busy to raise his eyes from his cellular phone. Mr. M. Alves could sit and make believe he works anywhere else but NOT in this building where disabled people come all the time. As of today, it is not in his heart to work or to help. This happened Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
