My first visit was only for X-rays. Then another visit for a consultation. Never even got a cleaning by them because they tell me that I had severe bone loss and that if I didn't do anything about it I would lose all my teeth with in a year. They told me there was a procedure that they can do that also required a 2 boxes of antibiotics but the insurance didn't cover it. $600 per box. Then they tell me that my insurance did not want to cover the procedure I needed so I would have to pay that out of pocket. All this seemed weird to me, I work with an oral surgeon and have knowledge of insurances. So I call my insurance to find out if In fact they sent a pre authorization for the procedure. Turns out they were sending wrong codes in my opinion it was on purpose. I go to another dentist to get a second opinion. When I told them about the problems I thought I was having in my mouth they looked at me like I was crazy.Turns out I didn't need any procedures just a regular cleaning. They would have gotten me for more than $2000.
