My sister, Janice Huber, attended Shield for many years. Growing up, she was a quiet, thoughtful person. Shield helped her open up her beautiful, funny, caring personality. When Janice passed away, the Shield put together a memorial service not to be forgotten. All of her friends attended and gave her such a tribute. Janice would often skip family gatherings just to have a day with her friends. Shield helped her grow her true independent spirit.
