Mi child is been a patient for to many year with a very professional Therapist Leslie Melendez. Unfortunately she is not longer work. Since his transition is been a lots changing. During the pandemonium the services terrible. No therapist, no administration personal. I have to take the decision to get service for my son and daughter in other clinic. He is missing his medication to often and as patient with mental health problem their medication and therapy and doctor attention is very crucial for theirs stability.

Do not confuse the programs. Note that the Puerto Rican Family Institute has several programs and all of them are not located in the same location. This location 3251 3rd avenue ONLY offers family support program(No mental health, no head start,no care coordination etc ) .This program (Family Support Program)offers services to family with children between the ages 0-17 with case management, community advocacy, workshops, parenting journey classes, back to school give away supplies for the families enrolled,referral process and internal Walk in program for the families that are enrolled. We use an evidence based model Family Connection. Puerto Rican Family Institute Inc has been under new management for the last three year and is doing an excellent job!
