Great service but lack of Cookies (Linden's) . They leave those in their office and don't stuff the cookies.. i donated 3 times already though. Very nice people though but PLEASE BRING BACK THE LINDEN COOKIES. Not much people, but I donate for incentives.

After reading some reviews after my visit to your establishment today, I know that any response claiming to take my review seriously is disingenuous. But I’m going to post it anyway in the hopes that others may be forewarned, and be advised to manage their expectations. After years of fielding phone calls from your organization for me to return to donate, I finally acquiesced, made the appointment and showed up today on time to donate. The receptionist was pleasant, and the gentleman who actually handled my blood draw was also pleasant and friendly — hence the reason I’m giving the two stars. After being directed to the computer terminal to complete the questionnaire, I then proceeded to a small office with another staff member for what I assume is the preliminary process to donating blood. Her name was either Janet, or Jamie; she was borderline rude, and her contempt was palpable; I’m absolutely sure that I did or said nothing to offend this woman.She acted as if she was doing me a favor by allowing me to come in and donate my blood. If the words unfriendly and unpleasant had pictures next to them in a dictionary, her photo would be suitable. I started to walk out right then, but decided that I would not let her energy discourage me from doing something good. After checking my blood pressure and pricking my finger for blood, she dismissively slid a Band-Aid across the desk for me to unwrap and put on myself. I didn’t protest because at that point I just wanted to get away from her. The blood draw went fairly well; I did ask him to change his gloves when he was withdrawing the needle from my arm. He informed me that he had done so already when he stepped outside the room, but accommodated me by doing it again in my presence – something that I appreciated. Before writing this review, I read some of the reviews of others going back about a year or so, and realized that my experience mirrored a couple of other people’s … Particularly with that staff member who has a very unpleasant energy. I can tell you now that I won’t be coming back there– at least to that location, And when I’m called again and asked for another donation, I’m going to explain why. I think donating blood is an important contribution, and that it saves lives. But the staff member treated me as if she was paying me for my blood, or as if I was a miscreant who didn’t deserve any courtesy. I didn’t leave there feeling good about doing something positive. I wonder if I were a white male, would I have been treated this way?
