I feel like I’m in juvie here. A lot of angry men with steam that they are carrying in. The staff are friendly, the front desk folks are a bit sour. The food is trash for all the funds they get. If you really dig deep Theres a lot of resources, but too many admin folks sitting around than helping folks find the social services they need. It gets lonely and confusing to find your way around and a more positive upbeat energy is needed. Needs an 🏳️🌈 affinity group, and more femme energy as Theres too many toxic men who make you feel afraid, shame and don’t want to engage with. (Aka ex felons) their hours should be more flexible. The art department is cute but too tiny and often cancels without notice their events. Not the best around accessibility for disabled folks, and you have to keep proving and arguing to use the elevator as I can’t walk up the steep flight of stairs. I haven’t had an altercation, but they don’t do a good job making you feel welcomed when you’re supposed to be supported to feel reintegrated as a a soft femme.
