The Dermatology Specialists - Ridgewood

This is the second time I’ve come to this location and had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I understand that delays can happen occasionally, but waiting an hour or more is unacceptable—especially when appointments are scheduled in advance. I would expect to be seen within at least 30 minutes of my appointment time. What’s even more frustrating is that after sitting in the waiting room for such a long time, I was then taken to an exam room only to wait again before the doctor arrived. All of that waiting for about ten minutes of face time with the doctor feels very disrespectful of patients’ time. I hope the office can improve its scheduling and communication because patients deserve better consideration.

If I’m being honest, I wanted to give three stars just because the front is not very friendly or welcoming into the establishment. When I asked questions. The answers were short. I felt like I was bothering. But I decided to give more stars simply because the doctor was amazing. Her presence was extremely welcoming, and she provided more feedback in terms of my question when presented to her. For what it’s worth I understand that sometimes we have bad days, but it’s important to recognize when you’re at work you are representing the company and the establishment.
