The Dermatology Specialists - Greenwich Village

This was a most pleasant medical visit!! Even after having to reschedule twice, the staff was very accommodating. I was warmly greeted & the intake process was quick & paper free. The waiting room was beautifully decorated as well as the sliding doors on the exam rooms. The clinical staff was so nice! They were very professional & thorough without being stiff or unapproachable. They addressed all my questions & concerns. Looking forward to us working together to keep my skin healthy 😊

I rarely give 3 stars it's usually 1 or 5 but this experience was unusual. I had a cyst removed from my forehead early 2024 the nurse and the doctors was amazing. The doctor was able to remove it and left no permanent scar. Local anesthesia was used and I didn't feel any pain. Unfortunately the billing department is a nightmare it's September of 2025 and I just received a bill that the billing department gave up trying to retrieve Monies not owed to them from my insurance company and decided to bill me directly! I acted fast and contacted my insurance company My agent and I was on hold for 2 hours no joke! But we were able to prove all debt was paid in full . If you decide to use dermatology specialist please check with a fine tooth comb any and all bills ps. Act fast. Update October 1st I was contacted by a manager from dermatology specialist and she showed professional interest in resolving the billing issue unfortunately at 1246 pm today my wife informed me she was also contacted by the billing department and she had nothing to do with the procedure? I am hoping they can finally fix these issues because it's a great place for your dermatology needs! 5 stars for now stay tune.
