UPDATE: I tried emailing per their message but they never replied. All of the workers were nice and there was flexibility with appointment times which was convenient. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of my overall experience and will not be returning. I got a biopsy and was told “If there’s anything noteworthy on the results, we’ll give you a call within two weeks to schedule an appointment for you to come in.” Personally, and as I’ve experienced in the past, I believe it’s good practice to call regardless of the results and share the results over the phone. I was also a little skeptical about the two weeks part, as I’ve never waited more than a few days for biopsy results. After three weeks of silence, I reached out to ask if my biopsy results have been received, because they weren’t even showing up on the portal. I got a call back the day after my second phone call saying the doctor would like to speak to me in person about the results. Of course, hearing this after three weeks of silence stressed me out. I immediately booked an appointment and took off of work, only to be told it was benign and to put Vaseline on the scar, which I was already doing. I’m thankful it wasn’t cancerous, but between the lack of information provided along the way and the wasteful 5-minute visit to their office (which will likely end with a bill in my mailbox) after having to seek out simple results that could’ve been communicated over the phone or via their portal, I will not be returning. As someone who struggles with anxiety/OCD, I wanted to share this for those who might also be stressed out by this process. If you end up called into the office to discuss results, it doesn’t necessarily mean anything bad! They probably just want your money.
