I lived in the Alexander for 2 years from 2024 to 2026. The team was always very helpful and knowledgeable. My neighbors are quiet and kind. There is very easy access to the buses, subway, and grocery shopping. I had to leave before the end of my lease, and the building worked with me to make it work. The appliances in the apartment were of good quality and were in good condition when I moved in. When I had any issues with any of the appliances or any work requests, they were addressed within 24 hours, including when my fridge stopped working; they had a new fridge in there within 24 hours. I was very impressed with their maintenance team. The front desk team was very friendly and strove to memorize each resident's apartment. This made me feel good regarding the security, as they knew who was supposed to be there and who wasn't. I enjoyed living there and was sad to go. Minor criticisms would be for the studio apartment: you used the washer and dryer provided on the 7th floor, which were a little expensive and mostly worked just fine; there was a short span where there were some issues, but this was addressed. Some dogs live in the building, and since it is a 27-floor building, some end up peeing in the elevator. I will give the apartment credit for how quickly they try to get this cleaned up. The apartment was expensive but not unexpected for the area and for the quality of the building.
