My 7 year old had eye surgery there. Regained consciousness, crying that her eye hurts. For several minutes, the nurse is saying don't let her touch it. She's crying uncontrollably. The nurse did her best. But when I asked about something for the pain, she said they were waiting for an order from the doctor on the floor. I'm like, you have a 7 year old here. Shouldn't the recovery team have an order for painkillers ready to go as soon as the kid comes to? They finally give her Motrin 15 minutes later, but she's still crying for the pain. Then the nursing staff are looking at my kid, like she's at fault. Not happy with this hospital. I feel that my child suffered needlessly because they didn't have things in place.

So I came in for surgery. Surgery was great. The nurses and doctors amazing. Unfortunately I didn't receive my ice pack on the way out. But that's not the reason why I gave 3 stars. I'm giving 3 star because the nurse who registered me at the counter. Basically, racial profiled a man based on what he looked like and assumed his religious background was Muslim I felt so offended. She had an attitude with me as well. Luckily by the time I made it to the back ok all the nurses and doctors changed my point of view. So, I know this is late. But, when I had my surgery I didn't get back the knee race I came in with. With that being said when I tried to replace the one I had I couldn't because they switched my brace that had my name/information on it. So, I end up being charged for another brace when I could have easily exchanged it because the brace that was given didn't fit right and it was the wrong one for the type of surgery I had.
