Andrew Gibbs
My name is Andrew T. Gibbs. I'm a 46 year old ex career criminal, a reformed parolee, & ex con currently about to complete my parole sentence! I was released from prison on January 25, 2024. I was mandated by parole to go to the program "Success Counceling" where I would have to do 90 days of drug & alcohol, & mental health treatment, as well as anger management. It took me approximately 1 year to complete treatment & recieve my certificate of completion due to the fact that i thought I had everything figured out until I started to encounter tragedies that I never seen coming & numerous setbacks, & relapses thinking I could cope & I couldn't! It wasn't until I actually realized that my counselor Magdelena (Maggie) & all the staff at success counseling became my family without even knowing it, which is another thing I didnt see coming, but I accepted them like they accepted me! They all smile at me & actually speak positive to me & treated me like a client, but also member of they're work family, respectfully! After completing the program, I focused on me & i was perfect, until I met someone who helped me make the choice to seek the help that I needed, so I chose to come back voluntarily to a place where the people accept me for who I am & dont judge me & help me stay well! Im not leaving! Thanks to my counselor & the entire staff at the program, I love me!
