To all staff at the Mount Sinai Morningside location. (Er and Hospital floor 9 west) I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible nurses and doctors at for the outstanding care they provided to my mom during her stay for pneumonia. From the moment she was admitted, the entire medical team showed compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for her well-being. The doctors were attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain her condition and treatment plan clearly, which gave our family great peace of mind. The nurses went above and beyond every single day—always kind, patient, and responsive. They made sure my mom was comfortable, supported, and never felt alone during a difficult time. Their dedication truly made a difference in her recovery. I am deeply thankful for the level of care and humanity shown by everyone involved. It means so much to know my mom was in such capable and caring hands. Thank you to the nurses doctors and all staff. Even the smallest acts of kindness means so much during difficult times. My mom(Josephine C)is feeling alot better and she says thank you to all.

I was given a referral to Mt. Sinai Morningside for a foot XRay. I checked in at 11:33 am and was directed to the 3rd Floor. Upon arrival at Rm. 308, there was 3 staff members talking. No one addressed my entrance. After a few minuets of just standing, the only person on a call asked me if I needed help. I wasn’t sure if she was speaking to me as she was still holding the phone to her ear. I gave her the referral in which she then informed me I needed the second page. She asked me to contact the doctors office to have them fax it to her. Me not having the second page was my mistake but all it would have taken was 5 minutes for her to call and have it faxed to her. Instead , I sat on hold for 30 minutes, just waiting to speak to someone. It’s okay to be kind and it’s okay to be courteous. Persons in these positions need to have a caring spirit and empathy to others.
