South Beach Ob Gyn

Surprisingly the quality of care was good. My hubby went in for severe asthma and chest pain and they took him right in. They did a complete work up on him and were very nice to him. He was there for about 6-7 hours and got hungry. They gave him a Tuna fish sandwich some crackers and juice. The staff was very on top of things and for once didn't rush when we had questions to ask. The only thing that annoyed us was from 6:30pm to 7:30pm they make you leave the emergency room for shift change. That is understandable but don't make me leave at 6:10pm and not allow me back until 7:45 pm. I was really hesitant about taking my hubby to St.Johns but the level of care he got was good and I have no complaints. It's about time St.Johns is approving the quality of care they give. It also helps when the staff actually acts like they care. I've seen it worse at times.

I am always in and out of this hospital, my first few admittance I was on the 11th floor due to my 💜 and the staff are phenomenal so kind and they care. But my last admittance which was now 2 weeks ago I was on the 8th floor and to me there was so much confusion the overnight shift nurses you never see when you call no show ...a few obviously did not know how to do the IV because it had to take 2 different people to come in and when the individual that has inserted the IV it left a lump in my arm . I was totally upset. It is the staff members that are the problem...1 nurse had TOOO much perfume on and some walk around just wanting to wear the title and be cute !!!!!! Do your job and still be cute . And communication is very important listen to your patient
