I am very happy with the care we received at Social Work Counseling Services. The office is clean and organized, and my youngest child loved the toys in the waiting room. The staff is very polite and respectful, which made us feel welcome every time we visited. They also handled all the insurance and billing perfectly, so I didn't have to worry about it. Erika O. worked with my two older sons, and she is wonderful. Because of her sessions, my sons' behavior has improved so much. She also gave me great advice on how to communicate with the school and how to get them extra help when issues come up. Our family now understands each other better and communicates more clearly. Erika was also very fast at writing letters for school and summer camp whenever we needed them. We are sad to leave because of a change in our insurance. Erika and the staff have been very kind during this move, making sure my son feels okay about the change. We are very grateful for their help and highly recommend Erika O. to any family looking for a great therapist.

We really like working with the therapist assigned, and will continue going there only because of the therapist, but the front office is an absolute mess. I have had to ask for the same document multiple times in a row. I waited almost two months to receive a letter from our therapist for my Daughter's school file, and I found out that the Therapist had written it on time, but the front office wouldn't send it because they kept claiming that I needed to fill out a Hipaa form that I had already filled both out in person and online. They recently charged me for sessions that I had already paid for and tried to claim that I was behind on paying for sessions, meanwhile I have a credit card statement of weekly charges all processing through. They also claimed there was an insurance issue that the insurance company has no record of. I sit in that office waiting room every week for an hour and this was never brought up in person. I always have pleasant conversations with receptionist while I am there, but then in the middle of my work day I find myself needlessly dealing with the disorganization of the illusive back office team. I am not the patient in this, but if I was it would cause serious trust issues heading back into my sessions.
